Why would a school district enroll a student?

It is difficult to offer every course requested by a student. The Babbage Net School provides the opportunity for a school district to enroll a student in a class that they cannot normally offer.

After the master schedule is finished there are always students that do not get the class they requested. It is very expensive for a school district to provide one-on-one instruction for a student that cannot attend school. If the home instruction will be for an extended period of time the district can enroll the student in an on-line course.
