What is Test Prep?
Standardized tests dramatically affect the lives of students. Test performance often becomes a symbol of educational pedigree and a measure of individuals potential. Unfortunately, many students don't get the scores they desire or deserve on standardized tests. They find themselves on unfamiliar ground, lacking the confidence, stamina, and basic preparation they need to attain test success.
National Standardized Tests: Getting into a college of your choice requires a balanced portfolio of strong scores on National tests, solid academic performance, and extracurricular activities. However, many students do not maximize their potential to improve their overall college admissions candidacy. Many high schools do not have a formal SAT program, so their students do not get the kind of preparation that is necessary to help them do their best. It is widely recognized that test preparation significantly affects a student's performance on the SAT. These programs include:
New York State Regents: All students in New York public schools must pass the English and Math exams in order to earn a diploma. But many of them need extra help to do that. Test content is authentic, replicating question difficulty levels, evaluating long answer questions and monitoring progression through each section with proctor prompts and instructions. Students receive immediate score feedback on long answer questions based on the scoring rubrics of New York state as well as explanations of their scores.
