Attendance Policy

A High School student may not exceed a total of three (3) absences. A Junior High School student may not exceed a total of two (2) absences. A lateness of less than twenty five (25) minutes counts as half an absence, and a lateness of more than twenty five (25) minutes counts as a full absence. When a student reaches the next full or partial absence, he or she will be automatically withdrawn from a credited summer school class due to insufficient participation. Vacation days will be counted as FULL absences. Lateness or absence due to technical difficulties are not excused and are counted as absences.

A class that does not meet due to weather problems, teacher absence or technical difficulties will be rescheduled at the earliest possible time.
